Timeline 2013 2009 2010 2011 2012 0 + - = 9 8 7 1 2 3 4 5 6 c ...transforms the way we look at the world, helping us to change the world and reality at the same time. First of all, we should ask ourselves, what do we mean by 'education'? INFORMATION isn't KNOWLEDGE. "The map of the World that people build inside their brain" 'Education' is a social category. How we define it may change from one society to other, from a point in history to another one. Education can take place in or outside a classroom.

With or without a computer.

In a MOOC, while having lunch with friends, or reading a book... Education = Information transmission? Can education be enhanced by technology? That's the challenge. It consists of accumulated and integrated facts, beliefs, perspectives, concepts, judgments, expectations, know-how... TECHNOLOGY CAN HELP US TO LEARN BETTER, AS LONG AS IT... Information transmission? An informal lifelong process? The development of our creativity? Empowerment? A way to freedom? Curiosity? True living? Transhumanists believe society can take control of technology and use it to enhance people so that they can learn more, or maybe better. We can insert a chip in your brain to make you authomatically learn all the maths, physics, chemistry, biology and language you'll ever need to know! And update that knowldge daily. There's no need for you to go to school! Sistematized learning? Opening doors? I believe education is not about information transmission. It is about helping us create knowledge. It is not about the technology, but about how we interact with others and with the materials.
