By: Shayleigh Order Of Operations 3(2n+4)-2(6n+6) First I have to multiply in the first set of parenthesis (pink numbers/letters) 3(2n+4)-2(6n+6) After you multiply the problem will look like this: 6n+12-12n+12 Then you will add the two number twelves together 12+12 +6n-12n Now the problem will look like this: 24+6n-12n Now Subtract the six n's from the other twelve n's 24+ 6n-12n 24 + -6n Now there is -6 n's so the problem should look like... 24+-6n The Answer Should Be: 3(2n) = 6n First you would multiply: Then you would multiply: 3(4) = 12 First you would multiply: 2(6n) = 12n Then you would multiply: 2(6) = 12
