Australia and the US have a very strong trading relationship.
The Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement has a description of the trade between Australia and the US.
The US and Australia have a Climate Action Partnership
In November of 2011, Obama went to Australia to expand the strong military relationship between us and Australia.
Australian Culture
Most of Australia speaks English!
Their variation is called Australian English.
Humor is a huge part of Australian Culture.
The Australian sense of humor is often described as dry, irrelevant, and ironic.
Many famous actors that we are familiar with are from Australia
Such as the famous brothers Liam and Chris Hemsworth.
Portia de Rossi, the well known model, is also from Australia

After the terrorist attacks in 2001, Australia became our strongest international supporters.
Australia supported the US invasions of Afghanistan (2001) and Iraq (2003).

Australia is the 19th largest importer and exporter in the world
Australia also uses the Australian dollar wich is worth about 90 cents in us dollars
Australia's main partners include Japan, South Korea, and India.
The main imports and exports of Australia are coal, iron ore, gold, meat, wool, alumina, wheat, machinery and transport equipment. Thus making it very dependent on its mining and agricultural sectors.
