A recent UNESCO report: mentions that the percentage of mobile device ownership is unprecedented. (Vosloo, 2012)
Students use their mobile devices for social networking. They serach, access information, stay connected, collaborate, etc.
To be able to engage students, we have to "leverage tools and technology that they can use and can relate to." (Probert, 2012)
