-Some of the rules include:
A. Control of Radioactivity
B. Maintenance of Core Cooling
C. Maintenance of barriers that prevent the release of radiation
-There are many more rules, but these are a few.
Safety
-Radiation doses are controlled via the following procedures:
A: The handling of equipment via remote in the core of the reactor
B. Physical shielding (hazmat suits, masks, etc.)
C. Limit on the time a worker spends in areas with significant radiation levels
D. Monitoring of individual doses and of the work environment.
