Are athletes over paid ? fas drtkfjlsff It’s everyone’s dream to get paid to play a sport. The people that don’t get paid for playing a sport think it’s unfair. To me I think that it’s fair that not everyone is going to get paid to play a sport, and some people need to build buildings, teach at schools, to save life’s, and etc. Blue-collar workers keep their jobs for 35-45 years. When athletes keep their jobs for 15 years or less. So I believe that everyone gets paid the same amount, cause if you think about it athletes get paid a lot, but they pay bills like everyone else and they pay more medical bills whenever they get hurt. So they lose thousands a season. So we all to me get paid the same. I think Athletes are not over paid. I think they are not over paid, because they get paid a lot all at once but keep that job for only 10-15 years. When non-athletes don’t get over paid, because they get paid a lower amount but keep their jobs from 30-45 years. But others around the world do think athletes are over paid and some don’t. Some people think it’s unfair cause they think athletes get millions to run with a ball, shot a ball, throw it, or kick it. When the few people out there buy t-shirts, go to games and buy tickets, go to concession stands; all that money that goes to the players and you complain that there getting over paid. If you are complaining so much about athletes getting paid so much and you have a lot of sports jerseys, apparel, and etc. then just watch the game on TV, and you save a lot of money then you would if you bought a ticket. If you are complaining so much about athletes getting paid so much and you have a lot of sports jerseys, apparel, and etc. then just watch the game on TV, and you save a lot of money then you would if you bought a ticket. “Is it the athletes' fault that they are receiving such huge amounts of money? Think about this: you're a salesperson and you're getting $7/hour, and then someone comes along and offers you $17/hour to do the same job. Are you going to say no? Even though you know the job isn't worth that much, are you going to turn it down? If you're a moron then you will, but the average Joe would take the money and laugh all the way to the bank.
If the players didn't get so much money, who would get all the money from the tickets, the T-shirt sales, the TV deals, etc? Now picture you're that salesperson getting the whopping $17/hour and you find out that your boss is making millions and millions off the stores sales. Are you going to demand a raise? It's true that you are already making really good money for what you're doing, but why should you do all the work, get all the consumers and sell all the products so your boss can make money? It's pretty unfair and you'd probably ask for a raise. Well, the same goes in the sports world.”

So do you think athletes are over paid are not? No one really knows if athletes are over paid or not. It’s just everyone’s opinion some people say yes some people say no. To me I think there not over paid. Sources
