Transcript of Insignificant Minor Chords

Something pushes it to far
Of course, you can't land on a gas planet
Insignificant Minor Chords
When I was small, I loved the Discovery Channel
Especially those space documentaries
Gas
Gas
Gas
I realized that ages ago....
But when I look back and see how
small
we are;
If our sun exploded, no one would notice
Not even a puff, just there and gone
But this feel of not mattering at all
This-this feel of insignificance
Someone
I've been there.....
Played those minor chords
Seeing those cloudy days
Hearing a dying Mockingbird
When a violin sounds like a crying baby
When life sounds like a guitar
missing
a string
Paced like
16th
notes
Slowly driving me to the
edge
Losing my
sanity
, losing my
life
I've tried to
trick
myself....
It's a
catchy
tune
Divine in nature
<
Why I'd rather be
blind
than
deaf
Just lies
Life is
good
I mean,
YOLO
! You better
enjoy
it
But it is at that very second
life hits you
Uppercut
to the jaw,
knee
to the stomach
It hurts
worse
every time
Picking the scab,
relishing
the
mistake
The knife just digs in
deeper
The
I-hate-yous, regrets,
and
rejections
I keep on reliving them
The
rumors
People
shove
it down my
throat
Repeatedly stating what I obviously did
wrong
HATE!
Insert here
wrongs
!
!
!
!
!
!
arguments
It's
too much
to take in
A leaf, slowly drifting into
darkness
Maybe it's not worth
existing
Just moving bones
Or a
plump
of fat
Bruised
at home
trigger for a Div orce
"Forever alone"
A phrase tossed and turned
Just for laughs
Or stating the truth so simply
That the
sun
shines for others, and not for me
But if I am just a
shadow
, why am I here?
Why not shine some
light
on me
Make it disappear
Make
me
disappear
Forever
I want to
leave!!!
Stop
this please!
End it!
End me
I can't take it
anymore
But someone would have taken care of that
before
me;
Problems don’t solve themselves,
Burdens don’t go away because they want to,
Darkness
doesn’t shine a light upon itself
An
explosion
doesn’t extinguish itself
Maybe it would have been that car stopping a foot away from me,
That asthma attack on New Year’s Eve
The busted tire on flight 2287
That blue truck speeding before crossing the road
Not some string tied to a tree.
Religious or not,
You have
potential
If you didn’t, you wouldn’t be here
You’d be gone as soon as you came
But you’re still here
Maybe you want to be perfect,
Fall in endless love with the girl of your dreams
Become the next Mozart
Prove String Theory
Land on Jupiter
Of course, there are things that are just
impossible
But most times, it’s just really hard
If you fail and fail again,
try and try again
If you give up, that’s when you really
fail
So don’t give up in
living your life
So hang in there,
Stay strong
Suicide is a
permanent
solution to a
temporary
problem
A wrong note can be redone
You’re not just some minor chord
You’re more than notes of
divine proportions
Brighter than
seraphim
in endless flight
You’re an inspiring song
I dreamed of landing on Jupiter
