Hitler The Unforgettable History of One Man

By: Joel Baker Born in Braunau am Inn, Austria, Adolf Hitler was the fourth of Alois and Klara six children Hitler always envisioned himself becoming an artist. In 1907, he applied to a painting school at the Vienna Academy of Art. He was not successful on the entrance exam. Later on, Hitler’s difficulties continued through early adulthood. He continued to live in Vienna living off of the little bit of income he was getting from selling postcards of his unimpressive drawings and using the minute assets left from his mother. Hitler was after arrested and charged with high treason. in 1921
Due to his popularity, Hitler only served six months of his five year sentence. when he was in jail, he wrote his book Mein Kampf. (My Struggle) Hitler "Really" loved his mom, most would say he love her too much. When his mom died, Hitler would visit his moms grave everytime he had a chance. The Great Depression was the truly the event to stabilize the Nazi party’s place in history. Hitler and his Nazi party would continue to push their way up the governmental ladder. In 1932, he even attempted to run for president; however, his campaign failed. By 1933, Hitler was appointed chancellor until 1934 when the unexpected death of President Hindenburg would open an opportunity like none other. By 90 percent vote, Adolf Hitler became leader and chancellor or “Führer und Reichskanzler” of Germany. Hitler wanted to “cleanse” the nation by killing all infants with physical or mental handicaps. This led to the creation of ghettos and concentration camps where Jews, homosexuals, psychiatric patents and many other minorities were killed or starved to death. Hitler’s final event occurred after writing his last will and political testament. On April 30, 1945, Adolf Hitler and his wife Eva Braun committed suicide by shooting himself in the head and biting a cyanide capsule simultaneously. Although the man himself was gone and his chapter ended, those affected by the Holocaust and World War II would feel the rippling effect of the devastation for years to come. That`s all Folks!
