In 1980 Japan became

At a young age Mae was asked what she wanted to be as an adult. As a response she answered a scientist. Every one was amazed and skeptical of her dream which only pushed her to prove them wrong

in 1973.
In 1977 she recieved
her bachelors

She Recieved
her degree in
medicine in 1981.
Opon her return to the US in 1985 she made
a career change to an astronaut.
In october of 1985 she
applied to the Nasa
Space program.
On September 12, 1992
her shuttle the
endeavour takes off.
September 20 was
the day Mae
returned to Earth.
She recieved the Ebony
Black Acheivement
award in 1992.
She founded the Jemison
group in 1993.
