Setting
The SETTING of the book is
WHEN- During David’s first year of middle school.
WHERE- At Harman Middle School and at David’s house.
1. RISING ACTION is where we learn about the main conflict or problem
David and David’s BFF, Elliot, get in a fight in which David said something that’s really mean. Elliot becomes friends with a bully and starts bullying David. The bullying goes on most of the book.

2. CLIMAX is the high point or turning point in the story
The climax is when Elliot becomes friends with David. This is a big deal because Elliot not being his friend is half of why middle school has sucked so bad. The other half is that the meanest kid at school has been bullying him, but Elliot knows his secret (He watches Dora).

3. FALLING ACTION is the part where the problem is solved
Tell about the FALLING ACTION in 3 good sentences.

4. CONCLUSION is what happens to the characters at the end
Tell about the CONCLUSION of the story in 3 good sentences.

The antagonist is Tommy Murphy. He is really, really, really mean; one time he threw somebody over a railing and he broke three ribs and fractured his skull. For some reason Tommy bullies David. His best friend for most of the story is Eliot.
Antagonist
Theme Statement
The character learned to believe in himself.

Review

I would give this four and a half stars. I think this because I don’t normally like realistic fiction books and I liked this one. Overall I think this a really good book and I would recommend this book to the
entire class.

David is having a great time with Elliot who is back to normal. That’s when David’s sister figures out that David’s show is going to be on the the Daily show. Even though it’s a school day his dad agrees to let them celebrate because it’s such a special occasion.

4. CONCLUSION
David finally solved the rubik’s cube his mom gave him. He held a party that was awesome because his show is on the daily show. Then he figures out that that the mystery viewer/commenter before he became famous was his mom.
