Natural Disasters Fires destroy the soil. After the fire there is little amount of soil. There is no plat groth in this stage. Hurricanes blow particles in the atmoshere and polutes the air Underwater earthquakes cause the water to form giant waves that form tsunamis. Hurricane Katrina was one of the worst hurricanes and it started in 2005
