Both the authors provided information about the topic of snakes, which showed readers that this was an informative book. They focused on the snakes as a whole not a certain thing about the snake by analyzing this the reader can conclude that these books were written to inform them about this topic.

Most of the time the snake wins while attacking its prey, but here its the mongoose's turn to claim victory.

they can fit into tight spaces and it will be hard to find them
you can't escape the snake when it coils it's body
it is hard to tell if a snake is poisonous or not
some venomous snakes look very identical to some non-venomous snakes
