1. He lived during the Renaissance.
2. He became an expert in the anatomy of the human body, studying it in detail and creating hundreds of drawings to help explain his thoughts.
3. Leonardo da Vinci wasn't just an incredible artist, he was an inventor, scientist, mathematician, engineer, writer, musician and much more.
Some of his art
Leonardo da Vinci's style was Pastel Art and High Renaissance. High Renaissance is a rising interest in perspective and space gave the art more realism. Great artists like Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Rafael flourished during this period. Pastel art is coloring sticks that can be made from oil or chalk and Pastel art is very colourful.
Why I chose him
I chose Leonardo da Vinci because of his style. His style really inspires me. Another reason why I chose him is because of his paintings. His paintings are very beautiful. His paintings are admired by people all over the world.
