International Study Programs office is in charge of the coordination of English language programs.
During your studies at Corvinus you will be supported by ISP staff in all academic problems.
We will guide you through course registration and exams, and you can always turn to us for advice.
What can you expect?
Our international students can join the programs organized by ESN (Erasmus Student Network). They are a very active student group planning trips in Hungary, sight seeing in Budapest and cultural programs.
The university also organizes International days where students can taste several nations' food and get to know each other's culture.
ESN also has a buddy program so if you feel like having a Hungarian friend who can help you in everyday problems you can have a buddy from the ESN group.

Practical Issues: Academic semester
Academic semester is 14 weeks of lecture period. Students are offered an exam opportunity on the first week of the exam period in all courses, so if they wish they can finish their exams in one week.
Fall semester: from September to December.
Spring semester: from February to May.
If a student takes 4 courses, the student will have eight 90 minute classes / week.
Practical Issues: Accommodation
International students rent apartments alone or together with friends.
Rent in the city ranges from 300 to 500 EUR/ month depending on the size and location of the flat and the number of students sharing it.
ISP office can recommend students real estate agencies that can help students find accommodation.
Practical Issues: Living expenses
Budapest is an affordable city.
Living expenses range from 600 to 800 EUR/month. This amount includes accommodation, travel and living expenses.
Corvinus degrees are respected and accepted worldwide.
Students get ECTS credits for their courses that can be transferred to their home university.
Students spending a semester at Corvinus get an official transcript with the grades and credits they accomplished.
