HOW TO DO VERB+INFINITIF Verbe: A word that represents an action or a state of being. Pronom: A word that takes the place of a noun. Infinitif: The verb in its original form (before conjugation) Before we kick in to our lesson on verbe + infinitif, there are three definitions you need to memorize. Now, we have made a formula for verbe + infinitif for you! This will help you when you revise! P+CV+I+S= Verbe +Infinitif Now, we show you how to do it! P+CV+I+S= Verbe + Infinitif Pronom: Pronouns are words that replace names in a sentence. Consider the Following: Here's an example:
Je suis en Paris! La nom de moniteur est Jacqueline. Jacqueleine est tres sympa et interessante. Jacqueline est montrer nous le ville.Jacqueline connais le ville beaucoup. Doesn't that get boring? Jacqueline this, Jacqueline that! That's why we use pronouns! Je - I

Ils/Elles - They Conjugated Verb: A conjugated verb is where a verb is conjugated according to the pronoun it is with. Knowing how to conjugate verbs is a necessary knowledge. In French, along with all languages, there are regular and irregular verbs. This means that regular verbs follow the normal conjugation rules while irregular follow their own. There are three verb families in French: -IR, -ER, -RE They are conjugated like this: -ER

ex: choisir - to choose

Ils/Elles doivent Infinitif: The infinitif is always the orginal form of the verb (before it is conjugated). Here are some examples: Respirez Respirer CV Inifinitif Obtenit Connais Obtenir Connaitre Consider the following: Pronoun+Conjugated Verb+ Infinitif Je dois manger. The first verb that goes with the pronoun is conjugated. All other verbs after that are kept in "l'infinitif" SUBJECT The subject is a noun. Place Thing Person Now, we take all the things we know and put them together to make... A VERBE + INFINITIF SENTENCE! P+CV+I+S Je dois manger un pomme. Now that we have shown you how to make a Verbe+Infinitif, let's take it a step further. WE MUST TEST YOU YOUNG GRASSHOPPERS... WILL YOU FAIL... OR WILL YOU PASS THIS TEST?
