Prince's Famous Friends bassist, songwriter and producer. Number 10 on the American Charts for "Dance Electric" (written by Prince. Majority of success in early to mid-1980s. Andre Cymone: Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis: original members of Prince's pet project funk band The Time and toured with Prince starting in 1981 as his opening act. They went on to become a reputable R&B and pop songwriting/producing team, most notably for producing Janet Jackson (in addition to Mary J. Blige, Vanessa Williams, Color Me Badd, Boyz II Men, etc). Carmen Electra: model, actress, singer, dancer and television personality. Met Prince in California in 1991 and subsequently signed a recording contract with Paisley Park Studios. Romatically linked to Prince at this time. Kim Basinger: actress and model. Portrayed Vicki Vale in "Batman" in 1989. Prince wrote the soundtrack for this movie. Romantically linked to Prince at this time. Madonna: recording artist, actress and entrepreneur. Recorded "Like a Prayer" released in March 1989 at Paisley Park Studios and collaborated with Prince on the track "Love Song". Rumors of being romantically linked to Prince at this time. Chaka Khan: singer/songwriter. Recorded and released album "Come 2 My House" in 1998 under Prince's NPG Records label after parting ways with Warner Brothers (with Prince's assistance).
