What is the kind of future you dream of for your community? At first, I was alone. I was afraid and weak. There were people around me, but I never asked their names. One day a guy had a short haircut, and he had friends, so I thought: I should were short hair too! It's not that I really liked it, I just wanted to have friends! But one day I found a sign in Malmö that read "You are beautiful just the way you are" (Cause God makes no mistakes...)A few empowered individuals got together, discovered their beauty, shared their fears, and were not afraid of asking each other a favor. There was a new quality of the energy there, and people gathered around common interests: FB, FB, FBS (FaceBook, FootBall, Fix-Broxen-Software) but most importantly they discovered their common humanity. The more they became connected, the more they discovered that it's fun to be together, but also carries responsibilities. Ops: we forgot our neighbors; Ops: how can we remember that we are part of nature?

We are moving towards our dream-community now. Where we share creativity, our scarcity (or abundance?) in a democratic way.. No wait, we have gone beyond democracy. Freedom is responsibility, and the more you have, the more you share. ("Imagine all the people, sharing all the world" - J. Lennon). Everyone has an important role, we are gentle, we got past our stupid wars, there is freedom, democracy, we are safe to say what we think, and everybody can go to school. So we want a place where geographic community and gemenskap are one: we need to cycle together and collect our energy to get there! Wouldn't it be beautiful? A world without borders, open doors, time for friends and coffee' and to enjoy our beauty and diversity. And one day we will open our passport and it will read: citizen of The World. uahaha! The Art of Hosting "The Art of Hosting and harvesting conversations that matter is a new practice of democracy that we really need in the world now." - Phil Cass, CEO, Columbus Medical Association and Foundation, Ohio, USA

"Hosting is an emerging set of practices for facilitating group conversations of all sizes, supported by principles that: maximize collective intelligence; welcome and listen to diverse viewpoints; maximize participation and civility; and transform conflict into creative cooperation.” - The core team of practitioners, Upper Arlington, Columbus Ohio

"The art of hosting is a practice that heals the broken relationships between people."- EU Commission official

There will be room to share stories, projects, questions; to make meaningful connections with other participants; to find support for existing projects; to create new ones; and to create a tight network of people who want to contribute to the future of our community. We hope to see you there!
