Migration Dictionary Adoption Definition :To take as one's own Betray Children who were 4 up to 17 were sent away to find new families ,who can take care of them. Children Detached In the 1850s parents couldn't care of their child , the child can go for adoption . Definition :To be disloyal to Parents sometimes would betray their children and leave them on the streets. Emigration Definition: A person between birth and full growth When children find new families to be with they had to be detached from their siblings. Definiton : Separate , Apart Definition : A migration from a place like from a country or a region. Family Definition : A group consisting of parents and children living in one household 20 percent of orphans Grieve from the Great Depression. Homeless Definition: without homes, living in streets Immigration A lot of people emigrate to find better jobs or find better housing. Some children are lucky to have a family who loves them . Grieve Definition : Suffer grief , Sorrow Definition: The action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country. People immigrate to be with their families , find new jobs or new homes . Journey Definition: An act of traveling from one place to another There was a book based on "The Great Migration Journey to the North." Quit Definition: Leave (a place) usually permanently Sometimes People quit their jobs to find new ones at a different country. Separation Definition: Apart In the Great Depression children were separated from their families. Transport Definition: Take or carry from one place to another Everyone usually transport goods to send to their families or friends. Union Definition : The action or fact of joining together Definition: Disappear Walkout Definition: A sudden angry departure, esp as a protest or a strike Xenophobia Definition : Intense or irrational dislike or fear of people from other countries Yacht Definition: A medium sized sailboat equipped for cruising or racing Zoo Definition: A park or an institution in which living animals are kept and usually kept exhibited in public Animals migrate to all different zoo's in countries and cities. People like to travel in yachts to be with their friends and family. When people from different countries come to a new country, xenophobia happens and they should stop and fight for it.
