Transcript of Conduction, Convection, Radiation

Heat Transfer Weather conduction-heat tranfer through direct contact. Convection- the transfer of heat by the flow of materials. When air is warmed, it becomes less dense and rises. Air cools, becomes more dense, and sinks. Radiation- heat waves- transfer heat through
a vacuum. This is how we receive energy from
the sun. Radiation causes evaporation. Radation causes the heating of water
which causes evaporation. Convection causes wind. Convection causes thunderstoms, tornadoes, and hurricanes. Radiation heats the white sand on the beach. Conduction is what causes your feet to feel hot when you walk on it. Hi!!!!
