MY CULTURE
parental use
most important to my culture
I think that technology is the most important thing in my culture because...
In my family, technology is used for several things. Here are a few from ONLY the computer:
Technology in my family is used for watching movies, googling information, watching all kinds of videos, playing video games, learning information
and doing things like this Prezi.
( projects )
My parents use technology for keeping bank, insurance, and other private information from being stolen. They also use it for doing research, making plans, buying and selling items(online),doing work, playing games, filing papers and other stuff I don't know.

EDUCATION
second most important in my culture
Education is important to me because if there were no education, a humans life would still look like the life of cavemen.
Good educations means wider variety of jobs which means your more likely going to like your job and more likely earn more money and live a happier life.
INTERNATIONAL COMPARISON OF EDUCATION
U.S.A. ranking
out of 34 countries, these are what the U.S.A. got. ages-15 year-2009
subjects tested on: reading, science, math.
READING
the U.S. was 14th of 34 as of 2009.
that is slightly better than average.
but there are some circumstances.
English is known as one of the hardest languages in the world. so that makes America and other countries that speak English go up the ranks a few places.
But, the U.S. only speaks 1 language so it moves like one place back.
SCIENCE
the U.S. was 17th of 34 as of 2009.
that is smack in the middle of the 34.
no circumstances.
MATH
The U.S. got 25th of 34 as of 2009.
The ranking was lower than average and not as good as it should be.
no circumstances.
My culture is mostly American culture but has a little bit of Japan's culture. I was born in Houston and I am half Japanese. My mom is trying to get my sister, my brother and me to at least learn Japanese.
MY CULTURE
TRANSPORTATION
I ride my bike to
school every day except most
Mondays and Fridays
or around the
neighborhood or to
my friends house.
CAR: I use it to get to
Kumon, get to and
from school on Mondays
and Fridays, and to
other stuff like the haircut or supermarket.
I go by foot for short distances or if it is the only possible way like in the house ,going through the school, or
like going
up the
football bleachers.

Food is important to me because what I like shows
where I come from (this

doesn't always apply to
everyone.)I LOVE to eat

sushi, noodles (chinese, hot
and cold),fish, rice, and most
cooked meat like cow tongue,
salmon, squid, and others. I
also like to eat burgers, fries,
and much more. This list
could go on forever. etc., etc.,
