Common metrics
throughput = amount of information that can travel through a system
transaction speed = amount of time needed to complete a transaction
system availability = nr of hours a system is available to users
Information accuracy = nr of times the system gives the right information
web traffic = nr of page views, nr of visitors, time spent on page etc.
First Mover Advantage
When a company introduces something new and there are no competitors, it is the FIRST MOVER.
You need a competitive advantage to be first mover successfully
But, competitors follow quickly
How to make markets more attractive?
reduce buyer power
