Games & Sports
Students will be able to identify games and sports' types and and their written form.
Now, look at the map and pictures, fill in the blanks with the appropriate game type
look at each type and match the games with the correct pictures

Instruction: here is a boy named Kevin, let's listen him and learn "what does he want?"

I have a cartoon for you. look at the cartoon, what is missing?
yes, speeches. Now, we will fill the speech bubbles all together.
second part, where does he go?
look at the boy. how does he look, what about his physical appearance?
what is his problem? Any guesses?
after doctor, the boy meets with his friend. Where are they?
what can they talk? any idea?
(teacher gets students answers, writes on the board. Then, they read to check.)
I have cards for you. there are some sport pictures on each one. one of you will come to the board and choose a card. Then, act the sport, no speech.

: students see the whole unite on a single page. The glog summarizes the unite. students can use it to review the subject.
Moreover, after reviewing this, teacher can give homework. "students will prepare their own glog and on the glog they will show their favourite computer game, outside game, board game, word game and sport.
they will share their homework on facebook or ... before the lesson each student have already used these homework to find the whole clas's favourites.
Instruction2: which sport do you suggest for Kevin?
Students learn detaily about each
(In the class, teacher uses just word game and tower game as the others are more familiar.)
- Students read the other parts at home and search
- find a different game(an interesting sport/ different game(not familiar) / one of American/British child game (different from us)
- write shortly how the game is played.
: students search and read, then, write.
