HOW?? You will create individual 'books'; one double page per area of development.
Remember to include birth-19 and add images/references
Let's look at
PHYSICAL

DEVELOPMENT
.....discuss in groups then research - write an individual piece - 'what is physical development?' remember to reference
your work!
work in pairs - choose a term to define - gross motor or fine motor - then teach your partner so you both have each definition.

finally, create the first page of your book - birth to 19 years physical development......look at the table as an example to start you off!
today's focus; continue to work on books/tables -
communication and intellectual development
and
social, emotional and behavioural development
let's begin with an overview of each - what is communication and intellectual development?
your turn....use the diagram to give an overview of each factor - discuss in pairs/groups.
WHO ARE YOU??

mini-task - write down 10 answers to the question 'who am I?' - think about appearance, skills, personality, problems, beliefs and roles in life.

Now identify who or what has been most important in you forming these ideas.
