Taoism/Daoism by Mckenzi Hicks & Nick Gonzalez The sacred texts from this religion are the Tao Te Ching and Chuang-tzu. most taoist temple practices are designed to regulate the relationship between humanity and the worl of gods and spirits, and to organise that relationship, and the relationships in the spirit world, in harmony with the Tao. Taoism originated in China and has no founder or no founding date. many of the tradintion of the Taoist gives the priests the tool to carry out the conventional tasks of any religion such as worship, healing, exorcism, intercession, purification divination and so on.
