Theme
The theme of this song is that no matter how much you try to bring someone down, it won't work because they are "bullet proof". That means that the person that is trying to be brought down from others doesn't care what other people say and knows who they are; they are "titanium".
What Does This Song Mean to Me?
I like this song because it relates a lot to my life. I used to be bullied a lot, but it never bothered me. I never went in to depression, never hurt myself, didn't go to therapy. What people said to me, just bounced right back to them. Just like what the song says, "I am bullet proof, nothing to loose, I am titanium", it is like what happened to me. Try to bring me down, but you can't when what you say doesn't affect me.

You shout it out
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticized
But all your bullets ricochet
Shoot me down, but I get up

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away

[Chorus:]
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium

[Sia:]
Cut me down
But it's you who'll have further to fall
Ghost town and haunted love
Raise your voice, sticks and stones may break my bones
I'm talking loud not saying much

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away

[Chorus:]
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
I am titanium
I am titanium

[Sia:]
Stone-hard, machine gun
Firing at the ones who run
Stone-hard as bulletproof glass

[Chorus:]
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
I am titanium

If you actually got shot, you would most likely fall down in pain, but they are saying that your words may hit them, but it won't affect them.
