Project managing a £2 million budget to digitise the Vatican Treasures and Manuscripts.
Graduate Thesis Project
Introduction
DAMS – Digital Analysis Management System run by BDLSS
(http://www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/bdlss)
aim to collaborate all of the Bodleian’s Digital Resources into one reliable storage system for the maximum amount of time. They aim to have it as an indexed repository of ‘self-describing’ material (material that tells you what it is when you run it) and have the material all treated in the same way on a shared infrastructure.

£100,000 project lead by ORA to digitise thesis submitted by graduates. Current students must now submit both a print and electronic copy of their thesis before they can graduate.

What’s the Score?
4 year project in which it is aimed to scan 1 million pages of material from the Vatican and 0.5 million pages from the Bodleian concentrating on Greek and Hebrew manuscripts, 15thCentury printed books and unique items (small manuscript collections).
Indexing of DH manuscripts

65,000 records approx. of index cards were photographed and then transcribed to turn into an online catalogue.
Treasures at the Bodleian app

Royal Archives
Project managing the digitisation of Queen Victoria’s personnel journals
(http://www.queenvictoriasjournals.org/home.do)
which are held at Windsor. The Bodleian will be given the website to maintain and deliver to the public. 43,000 pages will be transcribed and made available through the website. Hoping to get a further project from this to digitise QV correspondence (apparently an avid letter writer).
