WE ARE NOT USING OUR WATER SUSTAINABLY.
WATER USE GLOBALLY
AGRICULTURE: 70%
INDUSTRY: 20%
DOMESTIC: 10%
As technology continues to improve at an incredibly rapid rate
More and more water is used to produce items we use almost everyday.
Hamburgers: 1,300 gallons
Pair of jeans: 2,100 gallons
Car: 39,090 gallons
Through p llution
we soil the water surrounding us
oil spills
fertilizer runoff
toxic wastes
garbage
pesticide runoff
animal wastes
human wastes
all destroy the water we can drink
Pollution also kills wildlife and harms the environment
These problems can be solved if we all
WORK TOGETHER
take small steps
THINK HOW MUCH YOU ARE
EVERYDAY
TAKE SHORTER SHOWERS
WASH BIGGER LOADS OF LAUNDRY
EAT LESS MEAT
TURN THE TAP OFF WHEN BRUSHING YOUR TEETH
Reduce your water waste in your household and community
And join water sustainability groups to start helping out globally
