Jack grew up in Chiswick, London and attended The Harrodian School from the ages of eight to eighteen. There, he studied media, photography, and art history. Jack Harries Jack Harries is a British actor, comedian, and vlogger. He was born on May 13, 1993 in London, England. He has an identical twin brother named Finn who studies graphic design at the University of Leeds. His father, Andy Harries, is a television and film producer. The revenue generated from his channel was soon double what he had previously earned at his retail job at Apple and enabled him to travel during his gap year. Jack has expressed an interest in becoming a television presenter and in September 2012, he began studying drama, television, and film at the University of Bristol. In September 2012, the Harries twins were reportedly finalizing plans for a new smart phone app and social network, both based on JacksGap. His maternal grandfather is playwright and novelist, Michael Frayn In 2006, he made his professional acting debut at the age of 13, playing the son of Brendan Coyle in the television movie, Perfect Parents. The following year, he appeared as Barry in the BBC comedy program, Comedy:Shuffle. In 2008, he joined the cast of the Channel 4 teen sketch comedy program, School of Comedy In 2011, Jack appeared as the love interest of Abigail Hardingham in a KFC commercial. In July 2011, Jack created his own YouTube Channel called JacksGap as a way of documenting his gap year after high school to his friends and family. In April 2012, JacksGap hit 10,000 subcribers and Jack was invited to become a YouTube Partner. As of January 2013, JacksGap has over 900,000 subscribers and over 40 million video views. Jack also has a younger sister named Emmy Lou .
