Louis Armstrong he was born august 4, 1901 and he die on july 6,1971 His father abandoned the family soon after he was born. His mother who often turned to prostitution frequently left him with his maternal grandmother. He got sent to the colored waif’s home for boys there he received musical instruction on the cornet and fell in love with music. He got his first exposure to creole music at that school. He was born and raised in the ghetto At age 5 he returned to his mother In 1918 he married daisy parker and adopted three year old Clarence. 1.What a wonderful world, hello ,potato head blues, 2. Names of his parents were William and Mary Armstrong 3. He performed at the national press club in Washington celebrating the inauguration of fellow Louisiana native Vernon louciere as the clubs president. 4.His last hit was what a wonderful world.
