Transcript of Recycling ~ Paper

RECYCLING Recycling can be defined as a waste minimization strategy in which reusable materials are recovered from a waste stream, and put to the original or different use. Recycling is one of the best ways for you to have a positive impact on the world in which we live. Recycling helps extend the life and usefulness of something that has already served its initial purpose by producing something that is useable. Recycling has a lot of benefits and importance not only to us humans but especially to our planet. The manufacture of new products from “virgin materials” the amount of energy needed is much higher than using recycled materials. The energy and resources that are expended in the transportation of “virgin” materials is also saved. Need more reasons? 1. Recycling saves energy The energy saved in producing new goods from recycled materials goes a long way to helping global climate change. By minimizing the energy used in manufacturing the emission of greenhouse gases is also reduced. 2. Recycling reduces pollution and preserves the environmental condition. When the raw materials used in the manufacture of new goods is derived from the core elements of old products there is an enormous saving of limited and finite natural resources. 3. Recycling preserves natural resources Most of the landfill sites are filled up with a lot of waste products that could have been recycled effectively. Some of these waste materials belong to the non-biodegradable category which takes a long time to decompose. Recycling enables proper usage of these waste products and saves space for landfills. 4. Recycling saves the space that is used for waste disposal ~ Recycling saves water.

~ Recycling save money.

~ Recycling is easy.

~ Recycling creates jobs. Every day, thousands of trees are cut down to create paper... Kilometers of forests disappear year by year... Recycling paper saves millions of trees! REDUCE PAPER WASTE AND USE IT GAIN OR TURN IT INTO SOME ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE PIECE OF ART! Reduce Trash, Reuse Paper
