In May, the Museum welcomed 14 specimens ranging from a tiny eastern mole to a mountain gorilla, on loan from the National Museum of Natural History.

A family views the Congressional Gold Medal awarded in 2011 to Japanese American WWII veterans in recognition of their service. The medal, part of a SITES exhibition, is on loan from the National Museum of American History.
