The days that they were born and died in.
Gandhi was Born on October 2, 1869 and was killed on January 30, 1948.
Martin Luther King was Born on January 15, 1929
and was killed on April 4, 1968.
These are the peaceful marches Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. led
Gandhi led his people against the laws that made his people register if they wanted to live in South Africa
Martin Luther King Jr. led the Civil Rights Movement in the U.S.A
These are some of the believes they had.
Gandhi believed that nonviolence achieves its goals through patience.
Martin Luther King Jr. also believed that it takes “creative tension” and a degree of confrontation to accomplish change.
These are some of the sufferings that they had.
Gandhi suffered physically for his cause by going on a hunger strike [not eating food] for some weeks.
Martin Luther King Jr. didn't suffer physically but he was suffering mentally and property emotionally.
This is how they led the peaceful marches.
They both wanted freedom for everyone and influenced a lot of people. They also both also used some kind of way of using non-violent protest.
