The UK is made up of 4 different countries;
the population of the UK is 63 million
It is 244,820 km² - there is nowhere in britain that is more than 74.5 miles from the sea.
The average fuel prices are around 140ppl

National Anthem: God Save The Queen
It is the capital of Northern Ireland.
It is about half the size of Dublin
It is only 166km from Dublin city which is about 1hr and 44min car journey.
Although Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, it is not the largest city.
Glasgow is the largest with a population of 592,820
It is the capital of England and also the capital of the United Kingdom.
It is the capital of Wales and it is the 10th largest city in the UK.
There are over 300 languages spoken in the UK.
The United Kingdom has no official language. English is spoken by over 95% of the population.
Other languages include: Scottish, Ulster Scottish, Welsh, Cornish and Irish.
Britain and Europe
Britain joined the European Union in 1973.
Giant's Causeway: 40,000 basalt columns out of a volcanic eruption helped to create the Giant’s Causeway. It is in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.
River Thames: The River Thames flows through southern England. It is the longest river in England and the second longest in the United Kingdom.
The current flag of the United Kingdom is known as the Union Jack.
In 1536, in the reign of Henry 8th, the Act of Union officially joined England and Wales, so the English colours represent both England and Wales.
