It is 244,820 km² - there is nowhere in britain that is more than 74.5 miles from the sea.

Belfast
It is the capital of Northern Ireland.
It is about half the size of Dublin
It is only 166km from Dublin city which is about 1hr and 44min car journey.

Although Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, it is not the largest city.

Glasgow is the largest with a population of 592,820
It is the capital of England and also the capital of the United Kingdom.

Giant's Causeway: 40,000 basalt columns out of a volcanic eruption helped to create the Giant’s Causeway. It is in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.
