The annual sales kickoff meeting is one of those rare times when the whole team is in a room together, so expectations are understandably high. Most showrunners check off the basics pretty quickly: a great theme , a charismatic speaker, a motivational speech, and tons of team building activities. But any seasoned presenter will tell you that those things don’t necessarily guarantee attention.In order to engage, inspire, and ultimately activate your sales team, you’ll need to use the most effective presentation techniques to get your message across.
Prezi makes use of strong visual metaphors so you can build out a presentation that matches your theme. It might seem like a nice to have, but science tells us that 90 percent of information transmitted to the brain is visual. That kind of math means it’s more like a necessity.
Versus:
Plain numbers on a screen are hard to digest. Prezi charts are highly visual and easy to update so you can present your data effectively. Adding a zoom in on the details will help you to tell a story and drive home your message.

A key element of any SKO meeting is audience participation, but saving questions for the end and flipping back through slides is never ideal. Instead, you can use Prezi’s non-linear approach to presenting. Being able to navigate to your audience’s areas of interest smoothly encourages interactivity from beginning to end. These tips can be applied to your SKO, quarterly business review, or any big meeting where your mission is to get your audience pumped.
