SPEED RACER LAB reasearch question: hOW DOES THE WEIGHT OF A TOY CAR AFFECT THE DISTANCE A COAR ROLLS DOWN A RAMP?????????? DO YOU KNOW??? THE RULES NO EXTRA WEIGHT TO CARS BECAUSE MORE WEIGHT EGUALS MORE MASS AND THE MORE MASS THE CAR HAS THE FASTER IT GOES ALL CARS MUST BE LET GO AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE IF ONE CAR IS RELEASED BEFORE THE OTHERS IT WILL HAVE A HEAD START AND MOST LIKELY GET TO THE FINISH FIRST ALL CARS MUST BE MADE OUT OF THE SAME MATERIALS BECAUSE SOME MATERIALS ARE HEAVIER THAN OTHERS THE TRACKS MUST BE THE SAME LENGTH BECAUSE IT IS NOT FAIR IF SOME CARS HAVE TO TRAVEL FARTHER THAN OTHERS
PLAN!!!!!!! The first thing you will need to do is gather your materials.After your materials are gathered you will need to create a ramp.Next let a toy car roll down the ramp and measure how far it went. Do the same thing you just did but add 4 more pennies.Now do the same thing one more time but this time add 4 more pennies.After you have done all these steps compare your data. My graph showed that the more mass the car has the faster it goes this means that my rules are fair. THANKS!!!!
