It ranges from people who support traditional folk religious practices to people in rural communities. Many of the staples of the Aztec diet are still familiar in Mexico today - maize (corn), beans, avacados, squash, chillies, and tomatoes. TRADITION: It is said that every year at christmas time children go around every door with images of Joseph and Mary representing when they looked for shelter and ask for welcome if the owner deosnt welcome them he yells at the and tells them to move on. Eventually the children will be welcomed and will stay the night there.
