Transcript of Art Stamp Project

ART STAMP PROJECT Design Brief I have been asked to design a postage stamp which should show and celebrate a landscape feature, a interesting local monument ect. It should be bright and interesting to the general public. The stamp should be detailed and show the beauty of the landmark I have chosen. I should consider the size of the painying of my landmark, it will still look beautiful and detailed. The stamp should have graphcis and texts included. nb: this are my pictures I manlipiulated on my laptop which has not got photo shop so I could not put text on it. However I did use photo shop and put text on these same pictures, but when I tried to download them, they would'nt download. Steps I Have Taken I picked my monument
Typed up my 'Introduction'
Got research on my monument
Typed up my 'WALT' page
Typed up my different fonts
Typed up my 'Stamp Evalution'
I took a picture of Ballykeel Dolmen and painted it
I manipulated my pictures
Typed up 'What I Have Learned'
I typed up my 'Final Stamp', 'Two Stars And A Wish' and my 'Evalution' My Original Painting Evaluation of Final Stamp I picked one my manipulatied pictures to be my final stamp. The reason I choose this stamp was because I liked how it had loads of detail and how the colours were really vivid and how they stood out. i also liked thhe fact that the Dolmen is still the main focus of the stamp even though it has been reduced. in a lot of my other pictures the Dolmen blends into the background. Ballykeel Dolmen Ballykeel Dolmen is in Ballykeel whick is near Forkhill. It has a top stone, two stones supporting his top stone and another stone sitting between the two supporting stones. It haD partly collasped, but it has been restored to its present day look. Excavations showed the remains of Neolithic pottery. As the soil has a very high acid content, no traces of bone have survived, but a phosphate content has been found, suggesting burials had originally been deposited in the tomb Skills I Have Learned How to scan images
How to use wash out o n photos

How to get a boarder around my page and sepatate paragraphs
