This is the year the iconoscope was invented, it is the first ancestor of the electric scanning television camera. Technology was beginning to be used for solving crimes, whether it worked or not we were advancing. Technological advancements were made in the scientific field with the newly invented Hubble Space Telescope. In 1927, a chemist named Edwin Perkins and his wife Kitty invented a new fruit flavored powder that added flavor to water. They called it Kool Aid.
The first electric Garbage Disposal was also invented in 1927 by a man named John W. Hammes. Electric Windshield Wipers In 1926, the first electric windshield wipers were created. Another important invention was the Aerosol can. It was invented in Oslo, Norway on November 23rd by Erik Rotheim. Later, it was updated by two American inventors to the modern form we see today. The fist clear tape ever to be introduced was invented by Richard Drew. He called it scotch tape, and it is still widely used today.
