The Emperor's New Clothes Plot exposition- the emperor had a different robe for every hour of every day. Rising action- the emperor gets weavers to make him a magic robe. Climax- the weavers fool the emperor by making him nothing. He goes in to his parade in his underwear thinking he had a magic robe that only wise men could see and fools cannot. falling action- the emperor was fooled and he had nothing else to do but carry on with his parade. resolution- the emperor is left as a fool and the weavers ran off with their 40 bags of gold. gay as can be. Protagonist- was the Emperor! he was very conceded but didnt fool anybody. antagonist- were the weavers. they fooled the emperor and stole his money. Conflict- the main conflict is that the emperor cares to much about robes =) the external conflict is man vs. man, the emperor vs. the weavers. the internal conflict is man vs. self. the emperor vs his stupidness.
