Men are recruited from Fight Club to commit acts of vandalism
Goal is to set people free from the chains of consumerism
The narrator is unaware and excluded from group
Suffers from insomnia
Monotonous job with frequent traveling
Generic lifestyle- condominium, clothes, job, interests, etc.
Makes soap using human lard
Lives for the moment
The narrator loses his condominium and moves into a rundown house with Tyler
Created after the two brawl in a gas station parking lot

Very resourceful, which is obvious in his ingenuity.

:Lacks any real goal. Maybe to get paid in order to fuel his Ikea obsession
: Lacks any real skills. Adept at using the copy machine and shopping through the telephone

: Lacks any real values. Doesn't care about lying, no religion, no clear moral lines
Lacks a clear background story
The embodiment of who the Narrator wants to be: cool, highly intelligent and charismatic.
A figment of the Narrator's imagination that is active when the Narrator is asleep.
Life story revolves around his birth from the Narrator's imagination as a result of the Narrator's intense attempt to cope with his personal life problems.

Tyler Durden is the split personality created by the narrator's insomnia induced insanity.
