Your Freshman Year sets the tone for your ENTIRE high school career
Get involved!!! Join clubs & organizations, play sports,etc.
If you are having problems in a class talk with your teacher, parents/guardians and/or guidance counselor
Take advantage of the After School program
Homework assistance
Tutoring
Come to school DAILY
Develop good study habits, time management skills, organizational skills and pay attention in class
&

5 Total Units to be a Sophomore
To promote to the 10th grade you must earn:
1 English unit
&
1 Math unit
High School Assessment Program (HSAP)
*2nd semester of your 2nd year of High School
*Must score a Level 2 or above
*ELA & Math
Palmetto Fellows Scholarship
4-year institutions
Must meet:
* Minimum of 1200 SAT or 27 ACT (Nov. test)
* 3.5 GPA
* Rank in the top 6% of the class
OR
* At least 1400 on the SAT or 32 ACT (Nov. test)
* 4.0 GPA

Lottery Tuition Assistance Scholarship
2-year Public or Private institutions
Amount award based on the amount of funding available each academic year.
Can not be a LIFE, Palmetto Fellows, or HOPE Scholarship qualifier during the same academic term.
