All about Jackie Sweet I was born in Flint, Michigan on Sept. 5th, 1995 I went to Teddy Thompson, Gates, Hahn and Davison Middle School. I worked at New Life Camp this summer. My family consists of my parents, 2 sisters, dog, and cat. Something interesting about my family is that my parents are deaf, so we all know sign language. Some of my best teachers were effective because they actually taught on a personal level. The job I find most interesting is a Missionary. After high school I hope to attend
a Christian college and major in Youth Education. I would describe myself as grateful. One of the most memorable experiences of my life was when I went to South Africa on a missions trip. I went to there to change their lives, and in return they changed my life too.I learned that we should all be really thankful for our lives, and what circumstances we're in. I love to hang out with my friends. My idea of perfect
happiness is helping others in need. My favorite TV show is either That 70's show, or Friends. I use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
I think social media is useful for communicating, but its also huge distraction when you use it too much. I think the biggest problem facing America today Is selfishness. We spend too much time thinking about how to help ourselves, rather than others. My biggest fear would be failure. I only have one life to live, and I don't want to waste it. My goals for this school year are:
1.Try my best
2.Make it memorable
3.Be influential If I had to teach something it would be on Ethics. Something I struggle with
is procrastination. My favorite thing about English class is that you have a chance to be creative in what you are working on. If I knew nobody would judge me, my life would be different because I would be more confident in myself. And my least favorite thing about English class is writing long papers. I have been to Ecuador! My mom's side of the family lives there. Everyone has the potential to reach their dreams, its just a matter if you want to work for it or not. Final thought I don't learn when the teacher
lectures all hour. I learn best when teachers provide visuals. and spiders. A set of principles of right conduct.
