affected your life? "The speed at which everything is developing can be overwhelming, but I have always been quick to adopt most new forms of technology." Communications manual typewriters
and rotary phones iphone "The iphone has the ability to do everything I need for communication, with the added bonus of entertainment!" Work "My work is done in collaboration with the U.K., Australia, Hong Kong, India and China, but technology makes interactions much easier and more efficient." International flights within 24 hours, for personal visits
Instant electronic communications are also easy (e-mail, web conferences, ect.)
cheaper and easier to communicate in general

has been the most important development in technology in the past 20 years, because... The Internet It makes the world seem smaller than its ever been! TIMELINE OF TECHNOLOGY IN THE LIFE OF ROGER FRECHETTE: High School: "Projectors and tape recorders were considered state of the art." College: "[My college] was really ahead of the curve in technology. We had a punch card class registrationd system, and it was a really big deal." Grad. School: "When I got to grad. school, it was a whole new world[....] For the first time, personal computers were made available to me, to help me within my labs and work. "From grad. school on, I began to regularly use and experiment with different, more advanced technologies. I began to use the internet before it was called the internet, in 1987. I began to regularly use email to help communicate with coworkers, and to help with my work." ...was interviewed on how he has used technology throughout his life, and how it has changed.
