The 26th amendment lowered the voting age from 21 to 18, which means John (my man), can vote.
The 18th amendment prohibited selling and purchasing alcohol, but the 21st amendment repealed the 18th by making it legal to buy, and sell alcohol. (purchasing age is 21.)
