Afghanistan Economy Exports/Imporrs Internal Conflict Taliban The taliban have negligently managed
the Afghani government and brought
about ruin. This also opened up flawed
military regimes. Their ideals included
neglecting the modern world, causing
rifts in the economy. Foreign Aid Afghanistan is currently extremely
poor in all aspects of economy, causing
them to become highly dependent on
foreign support for health and agriculture. Criminal effects A weak and ineffective government causes
people to take action. This has led to people
revolting and criminal activity to rise. Unemployment Rate 35% of Afghani are unemployed, which is
significantly higher than that of other regions. Electrical Usage Very few natives actually use electricity
and produce very little as well. Afghanistan does not produce much, but it does so for the
following: opium, fruits and nuts, handwoven carpets, wool,
cotton, hides and pelts, precious and semi-precious gems Life Expectancy Life expectancy if much lower than in many
regions as people there are naturally expected
to live abouut 44.4 years. Living Standards Afghanistan does not possess a very high disease rate, but
people are unable to be resistant against them. Ineffective military Illegal Opium Trade Afghanistan has a weak and ineffective military without enough soldiers
of adequete age. Of the Afghan army, less than 10% are of suitable age. Weak internal Security The borders of Afghanistan are unprotected and are
unprotected from foreginers and invaders. As a result,
iillegal activity of opium trade has been reported through
much of Afghanistan, along with cultivation.
