The Steam Engine
The assembly line is often associated with child labor. Back in the mid 1700's to the mid 1800's, child labor was a big change in the revolution and they needed workers like, unskilled men, women ,and young children ranging from 3-12 years in age. The assembly line was a line of people passing down products. Each person had a task that they did for 6 days a week , and around 12 to 14 hours a day. This speed up the production in all sorts of products. However the conditions were harsh and people were fired very easily.
