My goal
Reduce employees' stress
24-hour Chipotle
Employees get higher pay rates if they work late night/dawn The primary goal is to reduce employees' stress
The specific PH program is important for this company because the customers could eat healthy food (i.e. Chipotle) at late night.
Many fast-food restaurants (i.e. Jack in the Box) open 24-hour. The benefits for the company...
More customers (popularity)
Earn more money
Win competition among other 24-hour restaurants (b/c it's more healthier)
Make customer healthy (no fast-food)
Make employees happy (more hours to work) the benefits for employee...
Earn more money (1.5 times higher salary than usual)
More chance to work (more available working spots)
Less work at night times (fewer customers) Design: Your Workplace Health Promotion Program for your company Design: Your Workplace Health Promotion Program for your company Design: Your Workplace Health Promotion Program for your company Design: Your Workplace Health Promotion Program for your company Design: Your Workplace Health Promotion Program for your company Design: Your Workplace Health Promotion Program for your company Risky lifestyle behaviors that directly contribute to and are responsible for chronic diseases and premature deaths
Poor nutrition
Tobacco use
Excessive alcohol consumption
Excessive eating (overweight and obesity)
Inadequate amount of physical activity

A unique aspect of the U.S. healthcare system is that, in spite of the prevalent impression to the contrary, all citizens of the United States have access to quality health care. Health statistics
About 7 out of 10 deaths among Americans each year are from chronic diseases. Heart disease, cancer, and stroke account for more than 50% of all deaths each year.
About one fourth of people with chronic conditions have one or more daily activity limitations.
More than 43 million American adults (approximately 1 in 5) smoke.
About 30% of adult current drinkers report binge drinking in the past 30 days.

Culture and Mentality
U.S. society values individualism and ambition, which are responsible for the motivation individuals display in changing health behaviors.
The term "stress" is not widely used or even accepted in the corporate world and is often understood to be a natural part of the job. The goal is..
I want to make a WHP program that is focused on stress reduction. Many employees are stressed out everyday working in a crowded and noisy conditions. They want to work in peaceful and calm conditions.
Since employees who have too much stress tend to smoke and drink a lot. Therefore, their physical conditions are in bad shape.
If the CEO opens 24-hour Chipotle, employees' stress will significantly decrease. Thus, they will be in good shape. Questions from survey
Do employees like working at late night/dawn?
Are employees willing to work at late night/dawn if they get highly paid?
Are employees less stressed-out if they work at late night/dawn? Design: Your Workplace Health Promotion Program for your company One employee who works at Chipotle is really stressed-out because of working in a crowded condition. He loves working at Chipotle, but the working condition is horrible for him. Because of too much stress, he often drinks and smokes. He wishes to work in a peaceful and calm condition at Chipotle.
After I ask the CEO to change the working hours to 24-hour, the employee is able to work in good condition.
The employee's stress reduces and also he stops drinking and smoking. Strategy
In order to reduce stress from the work at Chipotle, the working condition should be changed.
24-hour Chipotle would be effective idea to decrease employees' stress.
If the wage is high at late night/dawn, many employees would willing to work having less stress.
The wage at late night/dawn would be 1.5 times higher than the normal working hours. Evaluation of the program and report to CEO Evaluation of the program
