About Poseidon
Poseidon is the god of water and protector of all aquatic features. He became Lord of the sea after the death of his father Cronus. His weapon was a trident with which he could shake the earth causing earthquakes and it would shadder any object.
Sailors relied on Poseidon for safety when they traveled. His name in greek means husband.
More about Poseidon
Poseidon's main use of transportation was by chariot. Him and Medusa created the Pegasus. Poseidon helped the Greeks in the Trojan war.
Poseidon's family
Poseidon is the son of Cronus-the ruler of the universe. He is brothers of Zeus and Hades. Poseidon married Amphitine, one of the granddaughters of Oceanus.
