I will be able to describe producer/consumer, predator/prey,
Transcript of I will be able to describe producer/consumer, predator/prey,
Producers use energy from the sun to make food also known as photosynthesis. Consumers get food by eating other organisms. An example of this is a tree with leave and a giraffe eating the leaves off of them.
Predators are on the top of the food chain and eat the prey. Prey are at the bottom of the food chain and is hunted and eaten by the predators. An example of this is a zebra and a lion. The lion would attack the zebra.
Parasites feed on the organism (host) and is harming them. The host is the one being harmed by the parasite. An example of this is sea lice being the parasite and the fish being the host.
