Transcript of Reaching Beyond
Welcoming involves going to people where they are and not waiting for them to come to us
The people who most need to see Jesus are outside of the crowds
When we go out of our way to go to these people, amazing things happen

A Guy Who Just Didn't Fit
"I wish every day could be Halloween. We could all wear masks all the time. Then we could walk around and get to know each other before we got to see what we looked like under the masks."
"Wonder" by R. J. Palacio (p. 73).
"Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."
How DO I Welcome?
How did the people treat them?
What was the person looking for?
What did Jesus do?
How did it change the person?
But what will everyone else say?
